Briers Basketball Club is a non-profit incorporated community organization which is committed to the enjoyment and development of basketball, promoting participation, teamwork, fellowship and individual potential.

Founded in 1978, Briers Basketball Club gives the young people of Brantford and area the opportunity to participate in the sport of basketball, both recreational and competitive. Briers convenors and coaches are screened before their placement. They are also provided with ongoing training, and are fully qualified, where required, under the National Coaching Certification Program.
