In addition to our
recreational house leagues, we operate competitive girls and boys travel teams which
participate in tournaments and provincial competitions each year. There
is an additional fee for this program. Players and families must also
pay for their expenses for meals and lodgings while on the road.
In the Fall, divisional tryouts will be announced at
house league. All players must regularly attend the tryouts to register
their intention to play. Where sufficient turnout occurs during the
first divisional tryouts, consideration will be given by the Executive
Committee to having additional teams in a division, subject to available
coaching, gym time and financial resources.
Time commitment for travel teams is one practice
through the week and usually one on the weekend. Coaches may choose to
schedule a game during their practice time.
